SUBTLE MOMENTS
Our life sways like a rosary,
bound with the beads of subtle moments.
They are amorphous yet shape our lives
And pacify us in seer climes.
Let us preserve these moments August,
For it takes a moment to fall in Love,
To Emerge, to Succumb and Perish to dust.
Just as a moment's wrath can claim many a life.
A child's evanescent smile can refresh few weary souls.
Just as a few bitter words can sever a lifelong bond.
A temporal silence can allay the turmoil within.
The darkness of a million years,
is annihilated in a moment by a hint of light.
Vicissitudes can occur by a meager event, For an apple had lead to
Adam's fall & Newton's zenith.
Walking through the vista of years,
When your path seems obscure and your pace subdues, Then recall in this
plaintive hour, The subtle moment's of the yester years.
When you had danced in the sinuous rain, and reclined on the moon blanched
lawn.
Counted the exuberant stars and inhaled, the sweet emanations of dusk and dawn.
