Realities black heart
Reality vs. fairytale;
Fairytale loses every time.
Lovely Miss Sally,
From a distant valley,
Married a King some twenty years ago.
Father Time stumbled by,
No one knew why,
In the end she had nothing to show for.
Reality vs. fairytale;
Poor, battered Miss Sally,
From the deep, green valley,
Was too blind to see
How her life came to be
When she married an abusive drunk
From the edge of a raging sea.
