I remember when things
weren’t so good
for me.
That’s back when I was
eating frozen TV dinners.
Now I eat
high off the hog
dining on frozen entree’s.
It’s all good
cause no matter
what I eat
it all ends up
in the sewer
Some extra cash
would sure be nice.
How much of it
do you suppose
would fit into my coffin?
If it weren’t for Jesus
I would pull my car
into the garage
close the door
with the motor running
go to sleep forever
listening to Pink Floyd’s
“Just Another Brick In The Wall”
