    The Water Mystery

    The water falls
    from heaven to the heaven
    in your eyes,
    to me
then down to the water mystery.

    Only desire is held
    only your desire moves water.

Try to pour the rain back up.
    Only your desire makes
    the water change.

    She stares at the windshield
and wiper motion at the stoplight.
    The water mystery you sent
    falls through me,
    the rain is broken.

She was wet, drunk and in tears
    when she came out
    to the waterfront railing,
“I’ll jump in with both feet!”

She didn’t want the rain pouring up.?
